It’s true. Marie Kolstad an 83 year old grandmother recently underwent breast augmentation and it’s getting a lot of attention in the media.
This attention is necessarily because it’s such a rare story, thought. In fact more and more baby boomers are opting for plastic surgery and this trend seems to be growing and spreading through all the generations. Getting is older is something that happens to us all, but no longer is it something we have no control over. People want to look and feel their best until the very end and in this day in age, when the technology is at the stage it is, why not? Why shouldn’t they?
Grandma Marie was scared to tell her kids and grandchildren about the procedure for fear they would judge her for it. I think people are becoming more and more accepting and respective about people’s decisions to go under the knife for cosmetic reasons. How would you react if your grandma got breast implants? Maybe she already did, if so, how did you react? Did you go under the knife together? Do you think you’ll be following in Grandma Marie’s footsteps when you’re in your 80’s? Let’s hear your thoughts and stories!
